The 1794-ASB is an Allen-Bradley Flex I/O Remote I/O communication adapter. It provides a reliable interface between controllers and distributed I/O modules.

Communication and Connectivity

This adapter has one RIO communication port that supports legacy RIO protocols. It connects to Flex I/O racks or scanners using Belden 9463 or equivalent cables. The supported topologies include daisy chain configuration. Communication rates are 57.6, 115.2, and 230.4 Kbps, enabling flexible data transfer.
