Product Overview

The ABB RED615 is a compact, phase-segregated, two-end line differential protection and control relay designed for the protection, control, measurement, and supervision of overhead line and cable feeders in utility and industrial power distribution systems.

Suitable for radial, looped, and meshed networks, with or without distributed generation, RED615 also supports applications involving in-zone transformers. Communication between substations is enabled via fiber-optic links or galvanic pilot wire connections.

As a member of ABB’s Relion® family, RED615 integrates extensive protection and automation functions into a single, compact unit.
