Description
The 1746-OB32 provides a 32-channel high-density digital output for SLC 500 systems. Each output point can deliver 24 VDC with a sourcing voltage range of 5–50 VDC. The module draws 0.19 A of backplane current at 5 VDC and offers output circuit isolation tested at 1500 V AC for 1 minute.
The maximum ON-state signal delay is 0.1 ms, and the OFF-state delay is 1 ms. Each output supports a nominal current of 0.25 A at 0–60 °C, with a minimum load of 1 mA. Surge capability is 1.0 A for 1 ms, repeatable every 2 seconds. Total module heat dissipation is 6.45 W, with 0.172 W per point.
The 1746-OB32 is rated for an operating temperature of 0–60 °C (32–140 °F) and relative humidity of 5–95% non-condensing. It withstands operating shock of 30 G and vibration of 2.5 G at 10–200 Hz. The module is C-UL and UL Listed for Industrial Control Equipment, suitable for Class I, Division 2, Groups A, B, C, D hazardous locations, and complies with NEMA ICS 2-230 noise immunity standards.
