The Allen-Bradley 1747-L532 is an SLC 5/03 Processor module within the SLC 500 system. It is compact yet powerful, making it suitable for applications including small process control, material handling, and HVAC control.

The 1747-L532 features an advanced PLC-5 processor instruction set and can operate as a stand-alone unit or as part of a distributed system for SCADA applications. It provides up to 16 KB of user memory, with 12 KB allocated for data and program, and 4 KB dedicated to data storage.

With support for up to 4096 inputs, 4096 outputs, and 480 local analog I/Os, the module handles extensive control tasks efficiently. It achieves a program scan time of 1 ms per Kword and a fast I/O scan time of 0.225 milliseconds.

The processor draws 500 mA from the 5 V DC backplane and 175 mA from 24 V DC. It supports a maximum of 2 local I/O chassis, accommodating up to 30 module slots in a local I/O chassis, allowing flexible system expansion.
