Product Overview

The 1769-OA16 is an Allen-Bradley Compact I/O discrete output module engineered for AC voltage applications. It supports an operating voltage range of 85–264 VAC at 47–63 Hz, making it compatible with both 120 VAC and 240 VAC systems. The module has a 1.5-slot width and integrates seamlessly with CompactLogix and MicroLogix 1500 controllers.

Output and Performance

The 1769-OA16 provides 16 outputs divided into two groups, each capable of operating at different voltage classes. Every channel supports 0.5 A at 30 °C or 0.25 A at 60 °C, while the entire module delivers up to 4 A at 30 °C or 2 A at 60 °C. Output delays are rated at half a cycle for both signal transitions, ensuring accurate response times in industrial applications.

This module consumes 225 mA from the 5.1 VDC backplane. OFF-state leakage currents measure 2.0 mA at 132 VAC and 2.5 mA at 265 VAC.
