Description:
The 1769-L32E/B is designed for modular configuration, allowing connection to up to 16 I/O modules across 3 I/O banks. The controller includes one RS232 and one Ethernet communication port.
The RS232 port default configuration is DF1 full-duplex, 19.2 Kbps, no parity, Station Address 0, No Handshaking, BCC error detection, Auto Detect embedded responses, 8 Data bits, and 1 Stop bit. This port can be manually configured or automatically detected using RSLinx for initial communication. The RS232 port may also be configured as an ASCII interface for connecting barcode instruments and other devices commonly used in manufacturing processes.
