Module Overview
The 1794-OF4I is a FLEX I/O analog output module with four isolated channels designed for precise digital-to-analog conversion. It supports both current and voltage outputs that are fully configurable: 4–20 mA, 0–20 mA, ±10 V, ±5 V, 0–10 V, and 0–5 V. The module provides high-resolution performance with 15-bit + sign accuracy, a fast step response (<25 µs), and update rates of 2.5 or 5 ms for all channels.
Power and Isolation
The module operates with an external DC supply of 19.2–31.2 V DC and draws 50 mA from the FlexBus. Maximum continuous voltage output load is 3 mA, and isolation voltage is 120 V continuous (or 250 V when used with the 1794-TBN base). Thermal dissipation is rated at 16 BTU/hr at 31.2 V DC.
Performance and Accuracy
