The MVI46-MCM is a Modbus Master/Slave Network Interface Module designed by ProSoft Technology for seamless integration with Allen-Bradley SLC 500 processors. The MVI46-MCM provides one RJ45 debug and configuration port that uses the RS-232 standard, supplied with a DB-9M cable. It also includes two RJ45 application ports supporting RS-232, RS-422, and RS-485 communication standards. These ports are enhanced with LED indicators showing module status, backplane transfer, application activity, serial communication, and error detection.

Performance and Data Handling

With support for asynchronous data transfer, the MVI46-MCM can process up to 5000 registers and handle a maximum of 100 commands per port.
