The GE Fanuc IC697MDL750 is a discrete output module from the 90-70 Series, designed to convert high-volume input signals into discrete, controlled outputs. It features 32 output points, grouped into four fused sets of 8 points each. Each point is rated for 24/48 Volts DC with a continuous current capacity of 0.5 Amps per point and 2 Amps per group. In addition to its standard current handling, the module also offers short-term surge capacity depending on usage duration and ratings.

The IC697MDL750 is capable of driving a variety of industrial devices such as motor starters, solenoids, and indicator lamps. Its on-board LEDs provide real-time diagnostics by displaying both the operational status of the internal logic circuit and the ON/OFF status of each individual output point.

Included with the module is a slot key, which allows the user to configure and secure the module’s installation location within the rack. This key ensures proper placement and helps prevent incorrect installation. It remains fixed even if the module is removed and can be detached if needed.

The IC697MDL750 offers user-configurable features, such as customizable input/output references. These can be adjusted using a PC running either Windows or MS-DOS, through communication interfaces like an SNP port or Ethernet TCP/IP. Additionally, users can configure the output points to either retain their last state or turn OFF upon CPU stop conditions.
