The GE EPSCPE100-ABAC is a high-performance embedded Profinet controller, part of GE’s PACSystems RSTi-EP series, designed for seamless industrial automation and machine control. This all-in-one unit integrates processor, I/O, and communication ports—including Profinet, Ethernet/IP, and RS-232/485—into a compact, standalone controller ideal for real-time control and network connectivity applications.

Featuring a rugged IP20-rated enclosure, the EPSCPE100-ABAC withstands harsh environments, operating reliably from -20°C to 60°C. It supports 24V DC power input and provides 16 digital inputs/outputs (DI/DO) and 4 analog inputs (AI), with easy expansion up to 1,024 I/O points via Profinet slaves (such as GE FBM modules).

This controller offers high reliability with conformal coating and redundant power paths, achieving an MTBF exceeding 100,000 hours (per GE testing). It supports advanced Profinet redundancy protocols including PN-SR and Media Redundancy Protocol (MRP), ensuring minimal downtime in ring network topologies. Programming is flexible through GE’s Proficy Machine Edition (PME) software, supporting ladder logic, C#, and Structured Text (ST), plus drag-and-drop I/O configuration.
