Power Supply

• The module receives power directly from the backplane power supply.

• No external power source is required for module operation.

• External power is required only for the user’s transceivers.

Data Processing

• Intelligent processing is managed by the system’s CPU or Network Interface Unit (NIU).

• The module provides 8 words of analog input data to the system.

LED Indicators

• INT PWR (Green): Indicates the presence of internally generated field power for the analog field-side circuits.

• OK (Green): Illuminates when backplane power is properly supplied to the module.

Diagnostics

• The module reports a "Loss of Internal Power" fault if internal power for field-side circuits is lost.

Configuration Parameters

• The module supports flexible configuration via two jumpers on the carrier terminals:

• A second jumper can be installed to select the 0–10 VDC input range instead of the default ±10 VDC.

• Jumper Installed: Enables current mode, accepting 4–20 mA input signals.

• Jumper Removed: Enables voltage mode, accepting –10 VDC to +10 VDC input signals.
