Description

The IC200PWB001 is a booster carrier module in GE’s VersaMax series, designed to mount an additional power supply alongside existing module carriers. When installed, it extends the power supply to all I/O modules located to the right of the booster—up to the next power supply booster or endpoint.

The power delivered by the booster is shared with the AC or DC power supply on the CPU or Network Interface Unit (NIU), allowing for expanded and stable operation of I/O modules.

Removal Instructions

To remove the IC200PWB001 from the DIN rail:

1. Unscrew and detach the carrier.

2. If installed between other carriers, remove adjacent carriers first due to side-mounted mating connectors.

3. Pull the DIN rail latch tab outward and tilt the carrier to detach it cleanly.
